Tennessee basketball officially released its 2025 non-conference schedule Friday, featuring 13 contests with eight of them coming at the Food City Center.

The Volunteers open the season luckily with a five-game home stand, tipping off Nov. 3 against Mercer, followed by Northern Kentucky (Nov. 9) and Chaz Lanier’s former squad, North Florida, on Nov. 12. The stretch rounds out with Rice (Nov. 17) and Tennessee State (Nov. 20).

UT then heads to Sin City for the Players Era Championship at MGM Grand Arena, where it will face a depleted Rutgers squad on Nov. 24, followed by a Nov. 25 rematch of last season’s Elite Eight, a chance for the Vols to get revenge on Kelvin Sampson and Houston.

The Volunteers get a brief break before heading north to face Syracuse in the ACC/SEC Challenge on Dec. 2, followed by a neutral-site tilt on Dec. 6 against Illinois in Nashville. Tennessee then returns back to the Food City Center to host Louisville (Dec. 16), Gardner-Webb (Dec. 21), and South Carolina State (Dec. 30) to close the calendar year.
