Tennessee’s recruiting weekend for the massive Georgia contest just became even more impressive.
Andrew Rogers, a 2026 four-star EDGE and Virginia Tech commit, will be in Knoxville this Saturday for Tennessee’s top-15 showdown with Georgia, he announced on Twitter.
At 6-foot-6 and 240 pounds, Rogers is ranked as a Rivals industry four-star recruit in the 2026 cycle and sits among the top 20 recruits in the state of North Carolina.
The Greensboro, North Carolina native plays at Grimsley High School alongside Tennessee five-star quarterback commit Faizon Brandon, who’s also expected to make the trip to Rocky Top for the Georgia clash.
Rogers was originally scheduled to take an official visit to Virginia Tech this weekend but opted to cancel that trip in favor of returning to Tennessee for the first time since his May 31 visit for the ‘Big Orange BBQ,’ where he picked up an offer.
As a junior at Greensboro Dudley, before transferring to Grimsley for his senior campaign, Rogers racked up 76 tackles, 34 tackles for loss, and a staggering 23 sacks, while also forcing three fumbles in 14 games.
The Vols already hold commitments from EDGE rushers Zach Groves, CJ Edwards, and Hezekiah Harris, but flipping Rogers would all but lock Tennessee’s 2026 class into the top ten nationally.
