Well … We lost to Kentucky again.
Swept. Ugh.
And this one somehow felt worse than the one where we missed 34 threes.
Didn’t think that was possible but here we are.
We’re just too inconsistent offensively. As you all know.
We can go ahead and kiss the one-seed conversation goodbye.
Anyway, here are some Tennessee fan reactions from last night.
Many of you felt like we all did. Disappointed!
Getting swept by this Kentucky team is embarrassing.

Losing 2x to this trash Kentucky team freaking sucks.

Rick can go. Good coach. But can’t make a final 4 and can’t even beat his rival anymore.

The hot takes after every single loss in basketball gets tiresome.

Rick Barnes has made Tennessee a top 10 program for nearly a decade now.
Not trying to tell people to be complacent or “tell them how to fan”, but the grass isn’t always greener.
Enjoy this while it lasts.
You’re either a Vol or you’re not! 🧡

Too. Much. Dribbling. This offense is at its best when guys are taking the ball to the bucket, forcing the D to collapse, quick passes on the perimeter… not the endless dribbling out on the arc. #GBO

Getting swept by the Holler Ballers is, in fact, Rick Barnes’ fault/responsibility. Not making shots doesn’t explain away not running an offense that suits your best offensive players.

Rick Barnes knows alot more basketball than me. He’s forgotten more basketball than I’ll ever learn.
— Vawl Father (@98_Voluntarios) February 12, 2025
Just sucks that everything he’s forgotten seems to be about offensive basketball 😭
The Tennessee fanbase is spoiled. https://t.co/HLTj28NU3q

@BillisKing Bill, I find myself complaining regularly about Regular Season Rick but I quickly go back in my memories as a student with Devoe. Only to be followed by Wade Houston, Kevin O’Neal, Jerry Green, Buzz Peterson, Bruce Pearl, Cuonzo Martin, Donnie Tyndal and now Barnes.

Getting swept by a first year head coach isn’t ideal, fellas pic.twitter.com/mBaJNKSxTX

Why can’t Tennessee shoot the basketball into the hoop against Kentucky
— clax (@Clax_TN) February 12, 2025
Fans deserve better. Period.
— Diamond Vols (@DiamondVols) February 12, 2025
Mark Pope will own us but lose to everyone else and the sad part is the Kentucky fanbase will actually be ok with that

Kentucky really turns into the 2016 Warriors when they play the Vols 😭
