Texas has now entered the picture for Tennessee commit Legend Bey.
The four-star athlete out of North Forney High School in Texas announced Friday afternoon that he’s received an offer from the in-state Longhorns, adding to an already competitive recruitment.
Bey, currently committed to Tennessee, committed to the Vols in June over Texas A&M, Duke, and West Virginia.
Last weekend, Bey was in Columbus for Ohio State’s win over Penn State, as he continues to explore his options despite being locked in with the Vols.
At 5-foot-10.5 and 175 pounds, Bey is ranked No. 361 nationally and is projected to transition to wide receiver at the next level.
No visit to Texas has been scheduled yet, but given the Longhorns’ NIL resources and in-state pull, this is a development worth watching closely.
