KNOXVILLE – The fourth Volunteer has announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal.
Tennessee sophomore guard Bishop Boswell intends to enter the transfer portal after spending two seasons on Rocky Top, On3’s Joe Tipton reported Monday.
Boswell appeared in 62 career games for the Volunteers, averaging 3.5 points and 2.7 rebounds in 16.2 minutes per contest.
The Charlotte (NC) native delivered the best performance of his career in the Round of 32 against Virginia, tying his career high with 13 points while dishing out a career‑best nine assists in Tennessee’s 79-72 win, helping push the Vols to their fourth-straight Sweet Sixteen appearance.
Boswell becomes the fourth Volunteer to enter the portal this offseason, joining Cade Phillips, Clarence Massamba, and JP Estrella. With the transfer window officially opening Tuesday, Rick Barnes and Co. will look to be extremely aggressive in reshaping the roster.
