Philadelphia’s Bald Eagle Takes Flight Over Neyland Stadium

The University of Tennessee welcomed a special flying guest to campus this week.
It was a bald eagle that also happens to be a Super Bowl champion.
WBIR’s Emilie Rae Cochrane posted a video today of “Lincoln” — the Philadelphia Eagles’ live mascot — flying over Neyland Stadium.
It seems UT was willing to let the champ get a few practice reps in before the NFL season starts.
Lincoln is no stranger to Neyland Stadium.
The 27-year-old eagle was trained to do the stadium flyovers at the American Eagle Foundation in East Tennessee, which is the nation’s largest bald eagle sanctuary.
It is the same nonprofit organization that runs Dollyood’s Eagle Mountain Sanctuary — per the Knoxville News Sentinel.
Lincoln was born in Kodak, TN in 1998.
He travels in a customized van for every Eagles home game from Tennessee.
