‘I Ain’t Dead Yet’ … Dolly Shoots Down Death Bed Rumors

The rumors have been running rampant in the last 24 hours about Dolly Parton’s health.
Some people online thought the 79-year-old Queen of Tennessee might be nearing the end here on Earth, which had us all very sad.
As it turns out, Dolly’s alright.
She’s got some health issues she’s dealing with but “nothing major.”
She addressed the rumors today with an emphatic “I ain’t dead yet” post.
Speculation ramped up after Dolly’s sister, Freida, asked for prayers for her sister yesterday.
After the rumors got out of hand, Freida cleared the air by saying she didn’t mean to scare anyone.
“I want to clear something up,” she posted on Facebook. “I didn’t mean to scare anyone or make it sound so serious when asking for prayers for Dolly. She’s been a little under the weather, and I simply asked for prayers because I believe so strongly in the power of prayer. It was nothing more than a little sister asking for prayers for her big sister. Thank you all for lifting her up. Your love truly makes a difference.”
