Four‑star wide receiver Alvin Mosley released his top six schools on Wednesday, and the Vols made the cut as he narrowed his list from more than 30 offers. The Rosharon (TX) native listed Tennessee alongside Texas, Ole Miss, Houston, SMU, and TCU as he begins to map out his summer official visit schedule.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder is ranked the No. 116 overall prospect nationally and a top-25 player in Texas. He has already locked in three official visits, Houston from May 28th to May 30th, Ole Miss from June 5th to the 7th, and Texas from June 12th through the 14th. Tennessee is now pushing to secure one of his remaining dates.
The Vols offered Mosley on Feb. 19 and have pushed aggressively since. The versatile playmaker told 247Sports that Tennessee’s staff has wasted no time attempting to build momentum.
“Even though I just picked up this offer I can see where things are going,” Mosley told 247Sports. “They're making a good push right now and are getting to know me and my family and are really building relationships with us before official visits season. And I really like how all the coaches on the offensive staff are on me a lot.”
Tennessee’s interest in Mosley comes after a monster junior season at Fort Bend Crawford High School. He hauled in 67 receptions for 1,138 yards and 20 touchdowns, while adding 190 rushing yards and seven more scores on just 21 carries, making him one of the most coveted offensive weapons in the 2027 cycle.
