Offensive line coach Glen Elarbee is building toward a dominant 2026 cycle and this weekend’s visit from a current UCLA commit could be a key piece.
The Vols are set to host four-star offensive lineman Micah Smith for an official visit this weekend as Tennessee prepares for their top-20 matchup against Oklahoma, per On3’s Steve Wiltfong.
The 6-foot-5.5, 325-pound mauler out of Vero Beach High School in Florida, has been committed to the Bruins since June but remains a high-profile flip target for several top programs.
Ranked No. 219 nationally in the ‘26 cycle, Smith recently visited Columbus on Oct. 4 for the Buckeyes’ 42-3 win over Minnesota.
“Tennessee is also emerging for Vero Beach (Fla.) High four-star offensive lineman and UCLA commit Micah Smith,” Wiltfong reported. “The Buckeyes are involved and Ole Miss is also a contender for the Sunshine State road-grader.”
Smith’s visit adds to a loaded recruiting weekend in Knoxville, which will also feature Wisconsin running back commit Amari Latimer on campus for an official visit.
